Dr. Güler graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine, Istanbul in 2004. He completed his general surgery residency training again at Marmara University School of Medicine between 2005 - 2010. During his residency he attended University of Bergen, Haukeland University Hospital in Norway as a visiting resident in 2010. During his visit, he worked as an attending surgeon at Breast & Endocrine Surgery Unit.

Dr. Güler has broad experience on breast and endocrine as well as vascular / endo-vascular surgery. He has administrative expertise on developing multidisciplinary team work for breast care and establishing "center of excellence" breast centers. Dr. Güler has worked as primary investigator of several national and international clinical trials on breast cancer treatment. He has the necessary experience on developing softwares for e-CRF / e-learning and training programmes on implementing quality measures at breast cancer care.

Dr. Güler is an active member of Turkish Society of Surgery, National (Turkish) Society of Vascular and Endo-Vascular Surgery, Istanbul Surgical Society, European Asian Society for Breast Diseases (EURAMA) and also actively taking part at Turkish-Bulgarian Breast & Endocrine Surgery Club's web based activities as the chief consultant. He is the current secretary of Marmara Asian Region Association for Postgraduate Education of Breast Diseases (MAYMET) and Istanbul Endocrine Diseases Joint Task Group (ISTET). Dr. Güler iworked as the attending general surgeon at Istanbul Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center for 3 years. He is currently working at Kocaeli University School of Medicine General Surgery Department as a member of faculty. He is the chief operating officer at SENATURK since 2010.
